Bud McKechnie, 78 years old, was one of my recent, very interesting portrait subjects. A very sweet, bubbly man who has been doing Broga, or yoga for "bro's", for 5 years. He met me by the water in Sanford at 7:30am one weekday morning. We met by the water not necessarily because I wanted to the water in the image, but because I didn't want a tree line running through frame. I promised the art director I'd give her plenty of room for text or empty space. I had my fingers crossed for a beautiful sunrise sky, which I was very lucky to get on a Florida summer day in June. The weather here can be so unpredictable, especially in the summertime. The final product looks fantastic!
