SNAP! Orlando Student Competition: $2,000 Prize!

Central Florida area Photography students are invited to submit original photography for consideration in this juried competition. A jury of notable judges will select the 18 most compelling and visionary images and vote on an overall contest winner from that selection. All 18 jury selected images will be exhibited at Snap! Orlando.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to Photography students and recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation from Contest start date) from any Central Florida college or university, or high school. All competitors are required to submit current student or recent graduate status (via email to competition@snaporlando.com).

HOW TO ENTER:
Contest participants may submit a total of up to three original images that are created and solely owned by the submitting participant to be considered in the Snap! Awards competition. Each submission should include contest participant’s name, school affiliation and grade, title of image, and date image was taken/created. A maximum of 3 images can be submitted in a jpg format, not to exceed 500k. Specify the category for which each image is submitted.

PRIZES:
Best entries will be exhibited at UCF Center for Emerging Media on Saturday May 22, 2010, and a reception for the viewing of the images will be held. The overall winner will win professional studio light package, valued at over $2,000 (Promaster PRO 300 3 light kit, Background stand set with cross bar, 2 Muslins 10 x 20, PRO 4 channel radio transmitter, PRO 5 section carbon fiber tripod, Superlite 3 way Tripod Head) courtesy of Colonial Photo & Hobby.
